Ph.D. student to be trained in runtime verification/side-channel analysis (€8,000; ca. 2 x 1 week visit at UM/STU). FAU’s group lacks competence in runtime verification of software implementations and conducting side-channel experiments. To make the Ph.D. student at FAU familiar with modern tools from these field, we anticipate that he visits the groups at UM/STU for about one week.

Ph.D. student to be trained in cryptography (€2,000; ca. 1 week visit). UM’s group lacks competence in cryptography. To make the Ph.D. student at UM familiar with basic notions from this field, we anticipate that he visits one of the collaborating groups for about one week.
